once upon a time there was a dog named aspen. her family didn’t have enough time to spend with her as they wanted, so they searched and searched for a family who had lots of time and love to give her. when they found that family, aspen got a new sister and a new home and plenty of time and love. she’s a sweet and gentle girl who gets protective of her house and people but most of the time you hardly know she’s there. she has the most soulful eyes. she’s usually not a cuddler but sometimes she just simply needs some love time. dad is her favorite. She loves to eat, which is why she’s ono a diet. she sings when she’s happy and if she really likes you she’ll weave between your legs. she doesn’t like being covered up, or rain, or being alone. and she really doesn’t like feet.

That photo is amazing - and paired with the story you've told, it mirrors her movement from a dark past into the light and love of your family. The clean and simple design was a perfect choice, letting the photo and your journaling stand alone. Bravo!
