I just started scrapping on a laptop, too and I love it. You picked a great kit for this layout. I love all the technical marks in the background. The striped background paper gives it interest.

I did the opposite, started with a laptop and scrapped on them forever. Only just swapped to a desktop just over a year ago and haven't looked back
