There was a nine month period that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy ever but particularly the nightmare of November 15th 2020. It started out as any other normal Sunday afternoon but I started to hear noises that sounded like footsteps on the back stairs. Next thing I know a male had jimmied open the ranchslider door and was in the lounge. I said “get out” and he refused so I barricaded myself in my bedroom with my full body weight against my door and called the police after he aimed a knife at me. and tried to push open my door. I don’t know how I was so strong to cope on my own but I was... Little did I know that while that was the worst “nightmare”, the nightmare continued for another 6 months until police finally caught an underaged person visiting me at 11.30 pm asking to be let in and for me to provide “favours” for him.. We believe that all of the incidents that were happening every two to three months were done by the same group of people. It came to the point where I didn’t want to be at home incase intruders kept coming but I didn’t want to leave either incase more stuff got stolen.

      I cannot even begin to imagine how scary this must have been for you, Jennifer. You are an amazing, strong woman. I am so glad that the intruders were caught. Love the way you have documented this not-so-fun event. Congrats on the GSO and FF. Both are well deserved.
