It was a baby shower. We played several. I think they had to list things in your purse or pockets that started with a list of letters that spelled some baby related word.
The clothes pins were collected if you caught someone saying "baby". Mrs Margaret (middle pic) was quite the quiet trickster. As you can see she has 3 already.
