Awwwwwwwwwwww.... Such a sweetie. And I read all about your user name. I grew up in Chicago, lived there until I was 18. I can relate to the love of the city. It was nothing for my girlfriend and I to take public transportation (bus/subway) to get downtown and check out the museums, etc. Back then, it was safe. Even my over-protective parents let me travel downtown when I was only 14ish... And now I live a couple of miles outside of a small village where you have to drive everywhere and there isn't much to do... Sigh.
