August 2017 Random Challenge

This is so cool. I know you kind of broke the rules, but so what. You had something to say and you said it! Your journaling is great and so interesting (and shocking in parts),and is a reminder to me that not everyone is happy where they live. I actually love the C&S LO, with your deliberately nondescript photo. And while I am not making light of your issues, the line 'make a bee-line for the stateline' made me lol. Thank you so much for taking part, with your unique slant, in the challenge

Thanks @KarenB I had a feeling I was walking a thin line since the challenge asked for what you love about where you live now...I really tried to think of something...LOL...but as you can see...I came up with nothing. (and yes...parts are astonishing as well as funny...one has to try and find the humor in all things...especially the bad!)

As someone who has moved around a lot for my/my husband's work, I will just say: I hear you! I loved your journaling and your honesty! Here's hoping your next move takes you somewhere you really love!

Great way to make the challenge your own. While one might say that surely you could have found something good about where you live, even if it's small, what you did is much more honest and meaningful for your own album. I hope you're near the time when you can move somewhere you like.
