what a strong message I needed to hear recently. after reading a comment made by @AnneofAlamo about her boys needing to touch all day for learning at school, I decided I'd try doing some "hands on moments" with my son as well. It's only been a week, and I have miles to go before it's perfect - but the idea that sometimes, they just need to touch things to understand... *sigh* I just really needed to see this page.

I love the contrast between the large, sharp photo against the background paper, and I really like how you've split the story from top to bottom!
