Last month, with the passing of John Glenn, America lost one of its true pioneer heroes. This is a small tribute to those daring original 7 Mercury astronauts who were the beginning of America's exploration of space.
Journaling:
"Space: The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Its 5 year mission- To Explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life. To boldly go where no man has gone before." To Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom, John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra, Gordon Cooper, and Deke Slayton: Thank you for being America's vanguard in the exploration of space and inspiring countless generations to boldly go where no man has gone before.

I fell in love with your layout as soon as I read "Space - the Final Frontier"! As a long-time Star Trek fan and someone who grew up with the wonder of space exploration, glued to the TV to watch the rocket launches, this is a marvelous tribute to the space explorers - past, present, and future.
