Diane, I love her wings! I can't work with big flowers like that, I just love your clusters. btw. I find that when I am working on background papers that are black or grey my shadows look better as MULTIPLY blend and not LINEAR because they tend to be TOO black when using linear on top of black/grey papers. I hope you don't mind me saying that.
@Dalis I am thankful for the help, you know I want to learn to be the best I can. I'll try your tips. Update: I went back in and sadly PSE doesn't allow me to alter the blend mode on the shadow unless I separate it from the element on it's own layer. I will give that a try.
@dvhoward , how about changing the color to a brown instead of black? What PSE do you have? I think you can click on the FX and then you can click on shadow and change the blend mode in there.
Oh so luv this LO @dvhoward, and I luv it even more after your tweaks, @Dalis 's suggestion really softened those shadows! Your clustering and placement of your flowers are beautiful! An amazing creation!
