Shrek-Kin

This year after Bianca gutted our massive round pumpkin and sorted all the seeds out for roasting, I gave her the go ahead to all creative rights of the pumpkins carving. While I slaved away in the kitchen roasting the pumpkin seeds; she chose to create a pumpkin that looked like Shrek. Being the first time she ever carved a pumpkin on her own, she was a little nervous at first. After I assured her that she would be fine and I was watching closely she gave it a go. She gave him a huge grin, some big bold eyes and most important of all, pointy Shrek ears using parts from which she had carved. For her first time carving a pumpkin alone I have to say that it looked pretty darn right snazzy. Mommy could not be more proud, and Bianca herself, totally adored her pumpkin art and could not wait to show everyone
