Yesterday

It seems like only yesterday you were this small. It is hard to imagine now that five years have gone by. Yet I remember this day as clear as day. It was the first warm day of spring and you and your siblings could not wait to get outside to play. We spent the day in the back yard playing on the swing set and soaking up the sun. You had a blast crawling around the grass , grabbing handfuls and shoving them in your mouth faster then we could stop you. I seriously think you ate about a pound or two of grass that afternoon! A part of me wishes we could go back to those simple times, where you did not sass me at any given chance. But then again, I do love the little girl you have grown into more than anything else. I love you so my goofy sweet Doodle.
