This is so honest, thank you for sharing. I have also been through bankruptcy and divorce (thankfully I was able to buy my new home within the funds from the sale of the marital home) but I never take for granted that I am fortunate in that fact. The sheer panic and anxiety of that time can't be forgotten and I share your feelings in this respect.

@fruitysuet I think I netted $2000 from the sale of the house after we paid off the loan and a home equity line of credit, simply because the value of the house dropped SO much. Very sad and anxious time, for sure. Glad you survived as well! I am sure this is not a unique story, just not one usually shared in the scrapbooking sphere! But I like to scrap about everything!
