Oh my goodness Becky! You have blown me out of the water with your amazing page about your Paternal Grandmother Lena! Your journaling, personal ephemera you found on line, your composition, everything in the sepia tone to match the photo of your Grandmother and the wonderful clustering around your photo, with slight pops of color.. amazing heritage page! Thank you so much for playing along with the May Journaling Challenge. What a truly wonderful heritage page too! Thank you for sharing!
@cfile Oh my goodness...thanks for all the love, Christa! I had a lot of help from Rachel on this one since it's one of her loaded papers (ie, a quick page), but all those lovely spots for journaling and ephemera were fun to play around with! I think it's funny that the census taker spelled my grandfather's name wrong! After I got the page all done, I realized my great grandparents are listed above them.
This is FABULOUS!!! I love the photo but most of all your journaling about her. Wonderful heritage page that I may have to scraplift (hope that's okay with you). I like how you used the census record and other records of that era.
Oh this is an incredible pick for Froggy Fav! Looks straight from a magazine! The style is GORGEOUS! That peachy tone gives this such a softness & OH THE WORDS! I LOVE This!
