This red is really catching my eye today. Love the simplicity here, but also how the background is blended to nothing, and allowing those lovely red flowers and leaves to hold that space.

(I used a gradient mask on the paper that had the shadow.. I split out the shadow from the paper and duplicated the gradient mask [alt & dragged the gradient mask] so it was on the shadow layer too so it went from paper to nothing )

Beautiful take on the challenge! I love coffee too, and this page caught my attention. I like the way you used the foliage, so elegant, beautifully done!

You have a monthly pest control tech? I am struggling with ants and even though I got someone in - they seem to be winning. I love the details, great gradient. Thanks for playing along with my journaling challenge this month.

@StefanieS Stefanie, that is exactly why we got the monthly pest control. When we moved in (we are on a slab foundation and it is sandy here) in 1999 the ants were crazy here. We keep them at bay by having the foundation outside taken care of as well as him sprinkling stuff on the lawn etc., as well as spraying inside. I hope you get yours taken care of.
