JOURNALING:
(on tag) Filled Template - Hibernation
Hibernation is not a wasted time. It’s a time to restore and rebuild...
Northern Bats hibernate over winter, generally in caves or mines with high humidity and cool temperatures. Unlike other bats, they usually prefer solitary hibernation. While mating occurs in the fall, the female does not become pregnant until after emerging from hibernation.
Groundhogs are one of the few mammals that actually hibernate, generally from about late October to late February. Poor Punxsutawney Phil usually has to be awakened from his Gobbler's Knob burrow so he can perform his celebrated prognostication on Feb. 2.

Great job adapting the template from square to rectangular. I enjoyed reading your journaling - great informational page! And love love love the soft colours and the clustering. Going to have to do a little shopping now to check out those kits you used!
I really like the atmosphere you created with your BG paper and all the flowers and leaves. Super job filling the template but it doesn't look cluttered (how'd you do that?). Fascinating information on your page as well.
