November 18, 2019 Mile Higher Podcast has a commercial about an app called Calm. They recommend it highly, and I decided to try it, and used their code to sign up for a year's subscription. It's among the best things I've ever done in my life. Daily Calm with Tamara Levitt has helped me to rethink stuff in so many ways. And then when Jay Shetty joined the tea, and started with his Daily Jau, my brain got even more inspiration.

I'll admit, I don't always remember to meditate every day, but I quickly notice if I miss a couple of days, since I feel worse. Calm also has a lot of lovely Sleep Stories to help with winding down, when it's hard to go to sleep. My favorite is written by Chris Advarsun, is called Wonder and is read by Matthew McConaughey. A wonderful story that provokes a lot of thoughts about all the wonderful that is happening in the world in just this moment. Miracles!

I love it when apps make life better! I was thinking about this today because I don't let my kids use Instagram but I like to share the good that I find on it with them. :) Love the dark stitching with the mix of "calm" and "cool" colors.
