I did merge some of the paints and the threads into my back ground pages prior to printing.
Using template No 2, I took the cut out heart piece of the template and added an ⅛ rectangle to the right side in photoshop and merged them together. I did this because I know that I was going to be punching holes in it to place in my album. I then took this and exported it from PS as a .png and uploaded into my Cricut Design Space. In Cricut Design space, I sized appropriately and cut it out with my Cricut maker. I used 3d dots to make it pop off my background page and layered the cut out hearts under it.
For my branched foliage, I used paper 4 by Micheline duplicated it and used a multiply blend. I then used the following die cuts and assembled the branches with the leaves piece by piece.
All my foliage/leaves I scrunched them to give them more of a dried flower feel.
Sizzix Thinlits
Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered Florals
Tim Holtz Garden Greens
The remaining designs used were fussy cut by hand.
I layered my flowers. I cut 2 of each and layered them on top of each other to create more dimension. I rolled/curled the petals to add to the depth. For the rose, not only did I layer it, I actually took one of the roses and cut the layers of the rose apart, curled the edges under for each layer and glued them layer by layer to a base rose.
For the Initials, heart, and date stamps, I used the following stamps:
Pink Fresh | Heather Upper Case Stamps
Heidi Swapp | Stamp Society-December 2022
Heidi Swapp | Monthly Dates
For the initials and the heart, I didn’t like that the stamping wasn’t quite bold enough so I went over them both with my:
Altenew Black Alcohol Ink Marker
Used Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink Pad
From Personal Stash:
Black Ribbon and Buttons
