My birthday last month, I think I already made a page about this, my friend Marta, we met in 1975, the friendship had never stopped in these almost 50 years, even though for the greatest part of it we didn't have internet or cell phones, she has always been there for us, this time she came over as I had been so very ill, she came to be with us for my birthday even though flights from South America to London have become extremely expensive, we had a wonderful few days...beats any therapy the health system can ever give me. I dislike the fact that I see myself ageing terribly in these pictures, but I am sure I will look at them next year and think it wasn't that bad, so I keep scrapping them :)
