We had the blessing of living in this sea side fisherman's village before "progress" came and wrecked it. Is the place where the Portuguese discovered Brazil, a very important landmark for us, and a very sought tourism spot for people all over the world. I'm glad Sarita was blessed with toddlers years climbing trees and eating fruit from them, not a microwave in sight, there was no internet accesss and when it arrived, it was so poor, she never got hooked...we had a great time most of the time, almost permanent summer, family and friends
