I like your page - the torn cardboard and the pretty blue background. I especially enjoyed reading your journaling. I hadn't even considered New Year's as a possible holiday favorite when I first read the task for this month's Journaling Challenge, but after reading how you welcome in the new year, I totally understand why it is your favorite holiday.
