Quite a bird you have there! And apparently he likes to pose for you too. Is it a wild turkey? Guess he has no fears of becoming someone’s dinner. Nice photos which look great against that background.

@flowersgal Thanks! We have several groups of them (turkeys) that stop by multiple times a day. We have seen them roost in our trees also. He probably knows that I'm a vegetarian. :-) Although I don't think wild turkeys are that edible. :-) They like the critter food I put into the ground feeder.

Now aren't these guys handsome strutting their stuff :) Love it.. Did you take these with the new camera? I love the confidence this "Tom" is displaying as he trotts along your driveway! Love the template you used the wonderful banner and the absolute perfect word art.. You captured his personality perfectly.. Love this Marilyn!

Thanks for your kind words @cfile. Yes, it is with the new camera. But saving for the web does nasty things to the layout. It really is lots sharper than this. And considering I took both pics thru the front door window, not too shabby.

Today the group of five have been hanging around much of the day. DH saw them in the north part of the property while he was brushing his teeth (going off to visit with his 94 year-old mother this a.m.). I went out to feed them & they were watching me. I didn't even have the garage door down when they decided to just walk over right in front of me & snarf down some of the food I had just put out. Then they decided to sit for a while off into the east woods, then I saw them in the meadow. This afternoon, I had a woodpecker pecking away at the back of the house, so I went out with a bb gun to scare it away. I saw the group in the west part of the property, directly behind the back of the house. I know they don't live here permanently, I do see them crossing the road where there are 20 acres of woods, but they are here multiple times a day for the food. :-)
