Journaling reads:
2021 has been a big year for me in my creative journey. For many years I have created digital art and have enjoyed it enormously, but this year I began to yearn for something more, something more tangible, something I could touch and feel. I started watching some art journaling Youtube videos that showed artists using stencils, paints, inks and pencils to create fabulous pieces of art and I was hooked! Out came the supplies I had stashed away for years and of course I had to shop for more! I am learning so much about what I like and don’t like and of course learning how to use everything again, it certainly has been a big learning curve but I am so enjoying myself! I am also dabbling with watercolours and created this abstract in July, really love how it turned out and am pretty chuffed with myself!
oh- I love your creative journey and your page turned out to be fantastic!
Which is very funny, I have also started a new creative journey this year, I am enthusiastic about real art journaling and am currently watching a lot of videos on Youtube and have bought a lot of accessories in the last few weeks - such as Gelli-Plate, acrylic Colors, many Tim Holtz products, such as stamps and stencils ordered ... my new journey begins now .....
I am happy if you show more of your work here!
@CharlotteM Oh how exciting!! I am still trying to find 'my' style, have been watching heaps of Youtube as well and so far my fave Youtubers are Jesson Art, Maremi SmallArt and Susanne Rose Art (she is the one that inspired me to do the watercolour abstract in this layout. ) We will definitely need to support one another in our creative journeys! xxx
@wombat146

I like the same artists as you, watch videos of them
look, Shanouki Art and Alisa Burke have good ideas too...
@CharlotteM Oh, I hadn't heard of Alisa, off to investigate! *sigh* but maybe I had better get some housework done first otherwise I will be here in my craft room all day!!!!!!!!!!!
