oh my goodness Jenn.. so glad you had your camera with you!! Beautiful photo of the red tail We had the cooper's hawk here yesterday on our fence but couln't grab the camera in time. I love the blend work the beautiful photos and the clusters with feathers... so sorry for the little Squirrel but that is nature. Glad you captured this.. magnificent!

@cfile thank you - I got lucky, I had time to grab my camera bc he was busy with his lunch and did not want to leave it! I was a little sorry for the squirrel too!

Beautiful shots Jenn. I'm amazed we've never seen a squirrel become a meal here. We have so many of them but I guess we're too urban for the hawks.

Thank you so much @Angela Toucan @Karen @trekmom @cookingmylife The red tail hawks live in the trees surrounding my property. I'm a high point. My roof is taller than some of the trees on the properties below us ... so I see them all the time. Sometimes they dive bomb some critter as we are swimming or hanging in the yard and we wait to see if it comes back up w/anything.
