I cringe when I see this nest built on top of our backdoor light fixture. It has already fallen off once, but our little robin is bound and determined that this is the ideal place to call home.

      What an interesting photo. For some reason the birds seem to like building their nests around outdoor light fixtures. We've had nests on both the front and the back (fortunately not at the same time). Love the little bird perched atop your nest.

      It's okay to try and build a nest, but your robin would get a note from a teacher in nest building with "try harder!" LOL, what is precious is that you carried the message so well through with the clever use of the elements, lovely
