Oh wow! Amazing photos & landscape & the watercolor mountains & dipped foliage are such wonderful accents with them!

Painting aside, this is a beautiful page.. like how it all played out... such a nice feel to it... water color mountains behind.. the way the trail leads down... empty frames behind... and that touch of blue added to the leaf is perfect! would not be the same feel without it...

Love the mountain background and these beautiful photos! See, I need to talk to you about this too....did you see this and joshua Tree in the same trip? I need to figure out if we can do DL, The Hollywood Sign, Yosemite and more in one trip! ;)

@Aussiegirl No, Joshua Tree and the Sequoias were separate trips. Yosemite and the Sequoias are relatively close to each other (about 4.5 hours between). Joshua Tree is around 7 to 7.5 hours from the Sequoias - all depending upon where and when you're leaving from inside the parks. Then it's about 2.5-3 hours to Disneyland from Joshua Tree. It is doable to do everything in one trip, but there's a lot of driving involved. And depending upon how long you'll have. It's too much to do in one week. You'd need at least 2, maybe 3 days in each NP to see what's there. We have done Sequoias/Kings Canyon in 24 hours, driving up one day & staying in a tent cabin at Kings Canyon NP and driving home the next day. It was too fast. You could do two days in Yosemite (much harder to get tent cabins - you'll need to book over a year in advance). It all depends upon how many hikes you want to do and what you want to see. We did Joshua Tree and area in 2.5 days. We thought we'd have time to visit Palm Springs, but we were enjoying the park too much to leave and we never made it there!

What great hikes! Your photos are gorgeous. The dipped fern is really a nice touch!
