June 2020 - Journaling Challenge - Something Missed Because of COVID-19

Journaling - Loads of things have changed since I took these photos back in February. COVID-19 sucks in a bunch of different ways. Ben hasn’t gone anywhere but for walks since mid-March when we went under a "Stay at Home" order. He doesn’t seem to notice, which makes it easier in a lot of ways! He did ask to go to Target once and help Todd pick up the pizza one day but only after three months of being at home. He was fine with us saying "Everything is closed except for Mommys and Daddys to get things." No questions asked. 1. Ben’s prechool moved online via ZOOM. He missed having the experience of other kids before he starts TK in the fall (HOPEFULLY!). 2. We can’t go play at the park. 3. Nature Explorers’ Class was cancelled abruptly until Fall so we didn‘t get to say good-bye to our friends and teachers. 4. We haven’t been able to visit Grandpa George and have our typical Saturdays at the Nut Tree Plaza with lunch, rides on the train and merry-go-round before getting ice cream at Fentons. 5. No random trips to the mall to play at the LEGO Store. June 2020
