yes, we did have a California King snake pet, which Sarita named Cruella (for obvious reasons! LOL) We sold it in the end of 2002 as my mum was arriving to stay for my operations in 2003, and even though I remember my mum being the best when we lived in the mountains chasing away the hairy huge spiders with a broom...I knew a snake that feeds on dead little rodents wouldn't be something she would appreciate LOL TFL!!!!
Shudder - that snake on your hand. I can't imagine having one for a pet!! Love the strip with the dates and the pets' names along the bottom, and the photos are wonderful showing off your pets. Love the big title and that alpha is perfect!
LOL yes, ok, the photo isn't mine, I git one from stock photo as the Cruella photos we have are on paper, so I would have needed to go to the living room on the crates where the photo albums are and find them, take a photo of the photo and download into the computer, but as ours was almost same in length and color, I went for it.
I have to say, I have less problems with snakes than I have with roaches.....cocroaches make me almost ill.... The snake was more like Sarita's begging for it after we spent a weekend with a family friends of ours who are pet shop owners and they have 3 snakes at home (apart from the 4 dogs, 2 cats and a number of other pets) they have 5 kids and Sarita played with them a lot, we couldn't have a dog so when the kids said they would give Sarita a California King, took us to the shop and didnt let us pay....well...they are totally harmless. We had her for a bit over a year as I knew my mum would not set foot in my place if I still had her, we sold her just before she arrived in the end of 2002 when I was going to have my first operations... @bestcee@HeatherB
Great tribute to your pets! I love all the fun animal stickers hanging out around the page! I also love the way you mirrored the titles at the top and bottom with the tags across - very cool!
@MrsPeel Cockroaches are definitely up there with things that make me shudder. I can't stand them. We had them in our first apartment that we lived in when we lived in Toronto and I had to let (make!) my hubbie deal with them because I just couldn't! The previous occupants of the apartment must have had them and never warned us about them.
