I was a child of the 60s, so I have resisted every change in technology from the cassettes & walkman, to the e-readers & smart phones... I don't ahve a smart phone (mine is a dinosaur) but when we went to Turkey in 2011 fir 2 weeks, the lugagge allowance was 15kilos, I paid for an extra 5 k per person but the amount of books I read in 2 weeks would not be possible to be carried... I had lots of points in a loyalty card (Nectar, for all of you fellow Britons!) so I only paid for the insurance, the whole device was on points. I ended up falling in love with it and now is my morning coffee ritual, and entered my list of "don't leave the house without it". Of course I wont give up my paper books, but nothing wring with getting best of both worlds
