February Hybrid Variety Show – Flowers
It’s time for another edition of the Hybrid Variety Show. This month we are doing our best to get over the winter blues with beautiful flowers.
Sarah brought some sunshine into her workspace with these pretty wallflowers. She used Flower Brigade by Jacque Larsen. Here is what Sarah had to say about her process:
I decided to hang some cute flowers over my workspace to brighten up my office and forget about all the snow and ice that’s still hanging around outside. I used Jacque Larsen’s Flower Brigade. I cut them out with my Silhouette and then applied them to my wall using Tombow repositionable adhesive. I love my little bit of spring inside even if it’s still very much so winter outside.
Jewelle created this beautiful card using Treasured by Amber LaBau. Here is what Jewelle had to say about her process:
Cards are one of my favorite things to make. When I saw Treasured by Amber LaBau I knew instantly that this would make a beautiful card. I was drawn to the gorgeous paper flowers that she had used in her kit. Flowers are such a classic element for a card. I created my card in Photoshop, and then cut the individual elements using my Silhouette. I used foam adhesive in between layers of paper and under the flowers to give everything some dimension. A little bit of stickles on the flowers and sentiment made everything shimmer nicely. I can’t wait to find someone special to give this card to!
I created an art journal spread using flowers that I pieced together with a plethora of products from the amazing designers at The Lilypad.
I also decorated a wreath with some paper flowers from Cosmic Grape Flowers by Gina Miller.
