I love the weekends and especially Saturday – the break it provides from days in the office is just great. I love to snap a whole bunch of photos on my iPhone whilst running errands with my husband. Once I taken all these pictures I like to get them all touched up and edited to share around on social media and to do that I use a few favourite apps.
First up, of course, is Instagram. By now I’m sure you’re all familiar with The Lilypad‘s presence there and the Hashtags that Brynn Marie and I use to hunt down your awesome layouts and crafty shares!
Next is Little Moments App. If you haven’t checked this out I definitely recommend it; not only do you get all of FatMumSlim‘s daily photo prompts right to your cell phone but the app is also filled with cute doodle overlays and handwritten quotes that you can add to you images – you can then share directly over to Instagram. As if that isn’t enough, our very own Jaimee contributed a downloadable pack to the app!
I really love typography and capturing words that people have shared. I use Word Swag to create typographic images and image overlays. I’ve used an image of black text on white background created in Word Swag imported into silhouette studio to create a vinyl wall decal of a favourite quote for in my workspace at home.
Finally, for now, I want to share Studio with you. It’s a very slick little app that is full to bursting with interesting little overlays and borders and layers. It has its own community and you can like and favourite other people’s images, or you can just save to your photo roll and pop your images back up to instagram or elsewhere.
These are just a few of my favourite apps. I love creating on the fly on my phone and being able to share instantly, and then scrapbook them later. What are your favourite apps at the moment?

Are you going to post a 2015 editable calendar for photoshop like the 2014 one? It was invaluable and would love another for the coming year!!
The Lilypad says
There are many calendars to choose from at the Lilypad. Happy Shopping.
