Hello and welcome to the Sweetest Ever Project Parade!
We are back again this month with a love theme! This month we are thinking of all those that we love in our lives. Pets, siblings, husbands, children, etc. This month you can join on the fun and recreate your own projects like those seen in the parade. Just visit the February Project Parade category and shop for these products at a 20% discount.
Lets get this parade started! The parade begins with Wild About You by Jacque Larsen.
Courtney created some fun finger puppets for her children. She tells us, “I brought the fun animals into my Silhouette software. I then print and cut them out on label paper. I applied them to some American Crafts black cardstock to make them stronger and fussy cut around them. I used some of the cardstock to form a circle, and glued it to the back. The circle is large enough for me to slip two fingers inside it.
Next up are two products by One Little Bird. The Serendipity Kit and the matching Journal Cards.
Sarah created this beautiful greeting card. She shares the tip, “I love using pocket scrapping cards as the focal point on a greeting card. I keep a box containing premade 4.25” x5.5″card bases of varying colors handy so I can quickly build a card with the pocket scrapping card and just a few other printed elements. “
The parade continues on with Allison Pennington’s The Love Stuff: Pocket & Planner Tabs.
Susanne created some tabs for February cover page. She explains, “I used the February Love Stuff Patterns & Backgrounds, the element pack and the Love Stuff Cards (Carded V.9), all by Allison Pennington. Her collections match perfectly and it was easy to create the cover page with them. To make it I printed and cut it out. I then used washi tape to attach the card. I also attached the tabs with a stapler. I love the look of the staples!”
Next on the parade route is the sweet kit The Key to Happiness by Kim Jensen.
Jewelle created this tender greeting card. She notes, “Use cooler colors such as blues or grays when creating a card for a man. These colors appear to be more masculine.”
Our last goodie on today’s parade is Love and Romance by Kate Hadfield.
Using Love and Romance Melanie created this beautiful rendition of the letter from Letters to Juliet.
Thank you for following along with the parade. Stay tuned next week for the rest of the parade!
