Planners are a hot trend right now and hybrid planning takes customizing a planner to a whole new level. The planner trend has really taken off over the past year and for crafty types like myself this has opened a whole new area for creativity. Creating planner pages that fit my current needs as well as a few creative touches keep me motivated to stay organized.Last year, as part of the Documented Life Project, I created my own calendar pages each week. I admit that I felt overwhelmed by always working on the calendar for the current week. This year, I have opted to use a mix of calendar pages and adapt the content to my current needs as I go. This year I set a personal goal to get organized. One thing that was a real mess was our family calendar. Keeping up with a busy schedule for a family of five can be a daunting task. Jotting notes on the dry erase board or the nearest scrap of paper were no longer working. I decided to turn to my digital and hybrid skills to create a planner that was practical, but also pretty. Having a weekly calendar that fit my current style kept me interested in using the planner all year long. I take my planner everywhere and update it often.
