Per your request, pages from the photobook I made documenting my daughter Madeline's 1st 90 days (as seen here) are now available as layered templates. The templates are made to Blurb print specifications - sized for the 8x10 portrait album (exact page dimensions are 7.877 x 10).

Each template set includes 18 layered templates designed as coordinating 2-page spreads. These pre-designed schemes help take the guess work out of creating 2-page spreads that flow well.  Use them as is, or get creative and mix and match pages to fit your project needs.

• png file (with white background) - just open the document and start typing
• png file (transparent background) - use this version if you want to change the color of the text or add color or patterned papers to the background
• psd file (layered photoshop file) - so you can customize the template to your hearts content.  change the text color, change the heart color, take out the drop shadow, add your own drop shadow, etc.

The template is 5x7 in size and includes the white border, a clipping mask, and also the cut lines.  If you choose to get them printed as 5x5's you won't need the cutting guides, but these will definitely come in handy if you're printing them as 5x7's. note: if you don't want the white border edges for your layouts, don't use the clipping mask included in the template.  Instead, resize your layout (to 5x5, 300dpi), then drag and drop your layout file to the template while holding down your SHIFT key (holding down the shift key ensures that the file is centered with the document).

This layered template is based on a mosaic photo layout I created for a recent photo book project I finished.  As some of you may know, I recently completed a HUGE photo book project documenting my daughter's first three months of life. The process involved curating over 3,000+ photos, processing them, and getting them on layouts. The end product was a 296 page book. Inspired by my current obsession with "through the viewfinder" photography, which involves taking a photo through the viewfinder of another camera.  This technique results in a dusty + grainy + slightly blurred look that I just can't get enough of right now.  These are a must have for photo-enthusiasts!  There are a total of 18 photo frames in this set.

Details:

• 6 frames (collage, horizontal, mini, portrait, skinny and square)
• Each frame is available in the following styles: clean, ttv and vignetted
• Photo frames are available as individual .png files and as .psd files.
