Dia De Los Muertos Paper Pack by Jacque
|Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration takes place on November 1. I remember when I was about 10 years old and visited a local museum in Old Town, Albuquerque. There was a display of Dia De Los Muertos, and I was absolutely fascinated with the holiday. The decorations, the music, the food, the gifts, the celebrations and I fell in love with it ALL!
