Happy Pi Day!!!
What’s Pi Day, you ask?
Well…”Pi”, denoted by the Greek letter “π”, has been part of human knowledge for a very long time, but it wasn’t until 1988 that physicist Larry Shaw organized what is now recognized as the first “Pi Day” celebration at the San Francisco Exploratorium science museum. Shaw chose March 14, or 3.14 — the first three digits of pi — as Pi Day. Pi Day is still celebrated by lovers of mathematics around the world. Today is actually the 30th anniversary of this special day!

After making the pie, I used a stencil of the Pi symbol and placed it over the pie. Then I sprinkled on rainbow colored sprinkles to decorate for Pi Day.
I love how the pie turned out with the Pie symbol on top!!!
