Happy Fourth of July to all of our friends in the United States! With Fourth of July today, and Canada Day earlier in the week, the gallery has been brimming with patriotic layouts lately. I was cruising around the gallery and found some ones that I just had to share with all of you!
First off, there’s this great use of Kate Hadfield’s Star Spangled and a super awesome painty background by cfile:
Next, we have this awesome heritage-type layout from lorryfach. I love the word art here, which is from The Dawn’s Early Light Element Pack by Amy Wolff.
The block style layout by AmberR jumped out at me because of how she included some black and white papers along with the traditional red, white, and blue. I am also loving how she used Amy Martin’s Star Bokeh to add a sparkly touch to the layout.
This double spread by bjthomas shows a great use of the two pages, with the elements from Kate Hadfield’s Star Spangled and papers moving dynamically between the two.
I loved how chigirl included the yellow on this layout using My America from Kim Jensen. It really pops against the traditional red, white, and blue.
The pictures on this layout by jaye are just fantastic, and the block style layout lets them stand out among the papers, elements and cards which are all from Quirky Heart’s Canada D’eh collection.
The simplicity of this layout by MelanieB really struck me. I love how she used the white background and just a few touches of paint from the Spark Element Pack by Amber LaBau and Sara Gleason to let her photo be the star.
This layout by NIScrapper using Amber’s Spark Pocket Squares has that look that you just want to touch because you are SURE it’s real paper and not digital!
This layout by sm_amber using her Spark Collection shows great balance. I like how the two patterned triangles are balanced by the fireworks in the upper right corner.
These are just a few of the awesome patriotic layouts I saw in the gallery. I look forward to seeing more that everyone shares very soon!
