Hi all! It’s that time of the month again. I’ve been scrolling through all of the layouts you are sharing on Instagram with the TLP hashtag (#the_lilypad) and I have picked a few from the last month that really stood out to me.
First up is this pocket style layout by intense_magic. I absolutely LOVE the clustering across the middle of the page, and how the colors pop and really make the cluster dynamic. This is a great example of how to add visual interest to a pocket page.
This layout by afairlyfabulouslife caught my eye right away because of it’s use of a big, bold message. I also really like how the papers are layered here, and how some of the edges are curling up. It gives the page a really nice touchable factor.
This pocket page by katechris05 is somewhat the opposite of the one by intense_magic. The simplicity here is striking, with the use of black and white photos and simple embellishments and a soothing color scheme. In the case of this layout, less is so much more.
I guess I really like pocket pages this month! This last layout by tkradtke struck me because of it’s use of color and the various sizes for the blocks. This is another great way to add interest to the page. Using various sized blocks and playing with shapes, like the triangle on the journal card, can really add another layer of interest to your page.
Well that’s it for this month! Keep posting using the #the-lilypad hashtag and maybe your layout will be shared next month!
