(this post is brought to you by the thread about the word "Wonderful") Finish the sentence: "The word I use most in descriptive journalling is .... " For me, i think it's either great or awesome, and just as an aside, i can't stand how everything is 'epic' these days and that my son now says 'epic-er'
Great. And fijn in Dutch, which means nice. I've been using that word over and over lately, both in journaling as in text.
Wonderful. I really need to find a new descriptive word, because everything is wonderful. food. scenery. whatever. Just plain wonderful. Any suggestions??? Please?
definitely LOVE for me too. (even when I comment in the gallery ... it's I love this, and love that) Has to be my most used word of all time!
Probably 'loved' or 'excited.' I describe my kids' emotions a lot in my journaling and they love and are excited abt a lot of things!
We. So, I actually went back and looked at several pages and was surprised at how many times I start my journaling with We, as in We did this.... We went here... Guess I need to mix it up a bit. And, I just noticed that you said "descriptive journaling" I think I use FUN too much.
Oh yeah, add me to the "great" pile. "Oh, it was a great day!" "DD did GREAT at the concert!" etc. Ugh. I'm trying to expand and use "fantastic" or "wonderful" or "fun." But I still find a lot of "great" in my pages. I try to do what my English teachers taught me: Show, don't tell. So I try to explain more of what happened instead of just saying "it was great."
My top ones are amazing, great, love and excited. Oh... and "so much fun". I don't mind it so much in my PL book, but it's getting a little awkward in my trip album.
