Oh wow! I broke C2 in half.

That's crazy that you lost hot and cold in both of your hands! How do you test temperature? I'm right handed, but had to get used to using my left to test the temperature of things.

I know where the hot is in my shower and sink! lol, at hotels, my feet are my guide! bhahahh
I had an awesome doctor, instead of the halo, we did weights and strengthening for months ( I was in the Air Force at the time). I wore a long? thing Harvard collar for a few months and then a shorter one....for a few months. I was in this weird bed for months that spun? crazy crazy so long ago....seems like another world..

funny part, is the collar itched so bad, I had to get a waiver to have material around it, because I was considered out of uniform in the Air Force. The base commander had me come to his office, he was so nice!

@AnneofAlamo That's great that you could avoid the halo! I never had a brace of any sort, I had surgery instead. Bone from hip and then wired all together. Possibly because I was completely paralyzed when I came in, they figured mine would be a slow process regardless of what they did?

Spinning bed? That's crazy! The worst I had was a tilt table. I hated that thing!

    5. I try to keep a stable weight by eating right, yet I still treat myself to 2 Chips Ahoy cookies with milk each evening (it's a 30-year addiction).

Red is my favorite color too and I hate when people misuse the word "myself". I also hate when people say "we was" or "I seen". I'm from a rural town so many of my family members say those things and it drives me nuts! They also say "warsh" instead of "wash"... hehe
