What recent kit(s) would you like to see in action from me?? I am taking requests for my next blog post here at the pad as a challenge! NOW, remember I do hybrid, so it takes a little longer for me, so I will leave this open until Thursday, May 24th, to give me time to get something done for my post on the 29th. Anyone game to help me???
@IntenseMagic @littlekiwi @Cherylndesigns OMG...Those are all kits I was looking at earlier!!! LOL LOL LOL
I picked my kit!!!! Blog post is live and you can see what I picked! Should we make this a monthly feature??? Let me know! https://the-lilypad.com/pick-a-kit-for-hybrid/
I am totally going through all the hybrid posts on the blog now that I am starting to dabble in it for the pocket letter swap...... Looking forward to learning a few tricks.
I just learned how to do videos, so I am hoping to do that also! What are some things you are wanting to see??? Want me to do a pocket letter for my next post???
You know what I would like to see first of all? That might be the dumbest thing ever, but I bought a paper trimmer and some things about it baffle me. I know how to cut paper in a specific size but there are certain markers on it (A7 and A6, but it doesn't really matter what they are) and I can't for the life of me figure out how to use them. If it is any help, it's this trimmer: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004QO0NMG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Am I too dumb to use a paper trimmer, ? Pocket letter ideas would also be great. I watched tons of YT videos since this thread started and - God- all those possibilities!!!! So I'd love to see your take on it.
I think those are "card" sizes. I will look up and see. Maybe I can do a post on basic things you need for hybrid!!!
Rikki- Those are all standard card sizes. On the trimmer you’re using, you’ll notice a thin wire in the cutting area. That trimmer will cut your paper where the wire is, so just line up the area on your paper with that wire. I’ve been a paper scrapper since 1997, so there probably isn’t any question I can’t answer. If I don’t know the answer, I can point you in the right direction. Feel free to tag me with any questions. I’m happy to help too!
@londoncuppa Ha, Margaret, you will regret that you said that, . Thank you for the offer. I know they are card sizes, I just haven't figured out how to make use of those markers yet.... I think I am going to sit down with the trimmer and a stack of paper and practice.
