Fortunately, I'm in the pacific time zone so midnight EST isn't that late for me to stay up. But I can't be the only person who checks the forum right at midnight, am I? :yippee

This happened to me last year, too. Even though I know the day's challenge can be any time from midnight to 8:30am, I seem to have this knack for stalking the challenge forum right around 9:00pm my time.:wave

I'm usually up too. I did check last night for the challenge and it was up before I went to bed but I still haven't done it. I am only an hour behind though in central time zone.

Yep! I'm Pacific time too! ;) I usually go to bed around 10pm so I do check at 9pm our time! :) I can't always get a layout done but I like to KNOW! lol!

I may not make it to midnight, but when I wake up in the middle of the night, I grab my phone and check. Yeah, I'm crazy - not like I'm going to get up and start scrapping - but I figure it lets my brain start cogitating on the challenge while I'm sleeping and I can wake up inspired. :)

How do I do that? Subscribe to the forum so I get a notification? I was just looking for where to find the new challenge. It should be up by now as there's only 29 mins to go. (Yep it's midnight here!)

@Genniejoy at the top of each forum you should see this

    Capture2.JPG

If you click on Watch Forum, you get this box
    Capture3.JPG

and then you can choose how you want to be notified/alterted.
    Hope that helps :)

It may take a while for me to break my forum stalking habit, though...

I was a stalker last year. But I’m currently having lots of happy things to do so no time for stalking.
I check when I wake up. (time difference) The first two were live when I woke. Yay!

I'm plenty busy. Stalking and scrapping are mini-vacations.

So what is an Alert? I checked that rather than email but I don't think it's like getting the mind numbing awful News Alerts? or is it the one joyous thing on my phone?

Up at the top of a forum page you should see: a lightning bolt, and then alerts. It'll add one there.
And, yes, this should give you an alert depending on how your settings are set up!

I'm in MST, so EST midnight is still early for me (10pm). But tonight it's midnight my time and I'm exhausted waiting up for it. I have to admit, I'm nervous to go to bed and wake up to a challenge in the morning. I scrap MUCH better in the evening (after all the kids are asleep and the house is quiet) than I do in the morning when I'm groggy--especially since the kiddos go back to school tomorrow morning. Eep!! :X

I know everyone is anxious for each day's challenge, but please remember that our hosts are all in different time zones (just like you are) and have different home and family commitments (just like you do). While we do our best to get the challenges up as soon as we can, sometimes it's just not possible for them to do it right at midnight eastern. I have also asked that the hosts post their challenge at a time when then can stay online a bit in order to field any technical issues (like with the graphics). So your patience with the posting times really is appreciated, as the hosts have worked (and continue to work) really hard to make this as seamless and fun for the community as possible.

Yes, as Julie said, we all love MOC and are eager for the posts to go up, but I do ask that you please give us your understanding and flexibility. The Pollys do amazing work for the community during MOC (and always) but we don't want to force them to stay up all night to post and field questions. Thank you in advance for adjusting your expectations there! :)
