Technique Challenge #2 Hybrid Card | DSD 2016 **CLOSED** Winner Announced

    Woot!!! I am so excited to bring you the Hybrid Challenge for DSD!!

    I would LOVE for you to make a card! I don't care how you do it, but you MUST print it out and then upload it to the gallery.

    PRINT?! Yes, print! You can go all out and do a card with papers and elements that you print out, you can just print out some journaling cards and make them into a card, etc. Add some fun "real" stuff like ribbon, twine, foam adhesive (my personal fav!) or even just add some fake stitching with a pen. But I want you to create an actual card that you can give or send to someone!

    Here are a few examples that I created just for this challenge...and for my blog post over on the Lilypad blog!

    This challenge will close on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 am EDT. The winner will receive a $5 store coupon. Please remember, that projects must contain a minimum of 50% TLP products to comply with our gallery standards. Any templates used count for a total of 15%.

    If you want you can create an ATC, but you have to put it on a card base!!! Think of it as a journaling card!

    For @lmccandless , although my 6yr old son proclaimed it his & ran off with it. Just a very simple card with some glitter & a twine friendship bracelet.

    This is my owl hybrid card. I used PRD Owl my Love and printed out the owl sketches and colored them in with markers, made the background out of old envelope insides. I embellished the card with stars from PRD We Are Storytellers and a star from Kate Hadfield.
