I'll be posting the instructions as they are given in the chat room today, for one hour, starting at 6:00 pm Pacific Time. You will then have one more hour to complete your page. When you complete your page, please post in the speed scrap gallery and then copy and paste the code to post it here with the link to the gallery. Happy scrapping, everyone! INSTRUCTIONS: Start with a white background (can be lightly textured) and place a square photo (any size) in middle of page. Add 4 patterned paper squares anywhere around your photo, may overlap, tuck underneath, anywhere you choose around your photo, may be any size but must be square (don't need to measure but make it close to squarish shape). Add 3 strips i.e. washi, ribbon, paper, etc along the bottom of the photo, some must be on photo but some can be off the photo. Add stitching, staples, any kind of fastener at any position overtop the strips to anchor them down and then add a circular element next to the fastener. Place text, wordart or word strip over each of the 4 patterned paper squares. They can be off the paper edge but need to be touching the squares at some point. Then add 4 elements of your choice anywhere you wish to place them. Add some paint, overlays, brushwork, etc anywhere you like but you must use at least 2 or more. Add a title and/or journaling. thanks Rae - got there in the end! (my 4 elements were the bead scatter, the 2 flowers, and the washi tape; for paint i ended up with a chevron paint overlay, paint splatter and ampersand stamp
I wish I had made it to more of the chat, but thank you Rae! I posted my LO before the last two instructions were added, so went back and added to my LO and re-posted, but for some reason, the new version (which IS in the gallery) is not showing up here. Oh well, I don't get it.
Barely made it! I forgot the paint in my dash to finish on time so if I don't qualify for the coupon I understand. Thanks for the fun scrap!
