Just a reminder that if you are using Photoshop Elements (at least versions 14 onward), don't overlook the Guided features. I have had great success with their Restore Old Photo settings. Here is a photo of my grandparents headed out on their honeymoon. The changes might go unnoticed at first, but I corrected some slight yellowing of the photo, and notice the crease across my grandfather's suit and the sleeve in my grandmother's coat? Both are gone.
I think back to what it was like using PS or PSE 10 years ago and how much the software has improved over that time ... it really is remarkable. What a treasure of a photo that is Julie! Love the changes you were able to make! Can't wait to see what you scrap with this one!
The final result looks very sharp and clean. I think I was just looking at your page with it on Instagram!! Looked gorgeous
I love the result! Technology can be such a wonderful thing. I keep saying that I am going to go get all the photos I can from my mom's house, but I may have to save that for a retirement project lol
The miracles of technology. I still remember my first apple computer that had a lesson to get you started where you learned to click, point, and drag!
I remember those lessons too! We tried to explain "Oregon Trail" to our kids. They think we were so deprived.
Very cool! I love all these awesome features that are getting added into Elements. I use regular Photoshop because WAY back in 2006 when I started Digi there were serious gaps in what Elements could do for digital scrappers. Now they have all but closed those gaps!
