I was laughing over a Christmas gift my kids got me. An Angry Mama. Mostly a joke present. It is my Facebook avatar and @MrsPeel convinced me to use it here too.
kiss and that's horrible Oh! And to answer the original post (Bart is so distracting ) I have definitely enjoyed many others' avatars. That none spring to mind at the moment says more about my poor ability to recall than anything about the avatars. As for mine, last week I had a selfie photoshoot to replace the 3.5 year old one I'm currently using, but then iNSD and other things got me busy so I still haven't processed the photos and picked out The One. Soon!
Unhoppy, LOL... I like the avatars that have faces in them too! I love that just a small picture can give you such a big idea of what someone is like. Huggles!! ~Sarah~
hehe.... Sarah - I just answered your post in the what'd you get thread and remembered that you are one of the avatars that I love! I especially love how the Huggles! I always feel loved when I read your posts!
LOL yes, I saw it and compared to the other one you had, this one makes me happy just to see it, and this is the way I imagine you.....is crazy how an avatar can "make" the person... you looked too serious in the other one.... I also convinced Judy @chigirl to change hers... I saw a different avatar and she looks at least 10 years younger and so so much beautiful than the other one, I write to her to tell her she should change .....
I just love all the smiling faces!! And I adore the ones that show a little bit of personality!! The last avatar I had for awhile before this one, was actually because of you, @AnneofAlamo You had commented on a layout I made using it and said it should be my profile. I had never thought to use it because it was a no make up beach pic, but it ended up being one of my favs and I used it for a long time.
I love seeing everyone's faces when I'm scrolling through posts. It makes me sad to see an empty icon there! LOL
exactly what she said but @jagruti patel 's always makes me smile too. I also like thse that get themey when various holidays come round or those that are slightly disney themed whenever!
I've had the same avatar scrapbookland and on Facebook for almost 4 years. But in my defense, it's probably the best picture taken of me in forever. It was just after my youngest daughter got married. (and, yay, she's the one that's still married!!!) I had my hair and make-up done. I'm wearing a pretty dress and beautiful jewelry that my friend made for me, and I'm smiling and happy. All that, and I'm about 30 pounds lighter than I am now so it will stay.
@bcgal00 has the youngest looking avatar.... No way I would have guessed you were over 50. I switched you and @AnneofAlamo in the Cutie Pie game. Oh well, I have lots of information on the Pollys for our next guess the polly game.
I need to change mine! I had a pink ombre color in my hair - it faded fast, and to orange! Yesterday I went back to my red, but it's really a bright red, but dark (not much sense there!) I need it to tone down to my avatar red color, lol! Must wash hair tomorrow!
