I hope this qualifies. It's a blend of a light patterned paper into the coffee beans patterned paper using the "Hard Light" option, with coffee stains blended in afterwards. I kind of wish I hadn't lightened the centre so much, so I might still play with that a bit further.
So, my inital attempts at blending netted me a subtle effect that I really, really liked. I used the reflected gradient and ran it diagonally across my page. I blended the top pattern paper to a kraft paper below, and while experimenting with blending modes, I found one that gave me the purple effect you see here. I had originally been trying to have the pattern fade into the kraft paper, but I liked this much better. And, the purple is not in the original paper. I used Lynn G's worn edges to give the idea that the paper had been sunfaded, because of it's age.

I made an inspirational page for the inspiration challenge. And I blended 3 papers for the background.
I used a gradient to blend two papers together. I changed the blend mode of one of the papers to an overlay. I also added some painty goodness.
So I used three photomasks with three separate papers and blended them onto the white background paper. I had a blast with this, thank you! [/IMG]https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/happy-feet.318524/
I blended the overlay on to the white bg paper, which I then overlayed a solid color turquoise; I also blended splatters and watercolors with the photo to blend in photo also to the white bg. I also used a stroke border edge to make it look like a double matt.
My first time blending backgrounds! I used a light tan paper and brown paper blended for the background.
Here is mine. I blending two background papers, and blended in the skull in top left corner. I used ETC By Danyale's 13 Rue Noir kit.
