Monthly Muse October 2017 - Week #1

Welcome to the Art Journaling Monthly Muse!

October will forever be the month of change for me. Seasons are changing, pretty much everywhere around the globe. Some of you are finally moving into Spring, others are breathing a sigh of relief as Autumn starts to change the leaves. In the tropics we always loved October because it meant an end to the rain and a coolness to the air.

This month I would like the season's to be our muse. There are so many ways we can find inspiration in the seasons. From colors, to special sights and sounds and even smells that we find particular to certain times of the year.

Right now I am particularly drawn to color, so for this month we will be using seasonal colors to inspire our pages.

Lets start with winter shall we? Some of you are just heading out of winter, others are moving that direction, and quite frankly I am feeling chilly and blah after a very difficult emotional week - so winter sounds like a good place to start for inspiration.

Here are a few different color palettes for winter. Feel free to chose the one that speaks to you, and be inspired. Make sure you tell us which pallet inspired you and why! If you are feeling really creative let other things about the season inspire you. Maybe a song, or a flavor, a special tradition or whatever stands out to you.

Here is my page - finally! I started with the Blue palette but I think I ended up pulling from all three in the end.

Totally understand. Lol. So much going on. Another reason I was not in a big hurry this week. I think we will all be busy!!

 

Awesome Guys! So good to see that some of you were able to get some playing in even with the busy weekend! I LOVE it! I, alas, did not get to play, lol. Lets see if we can remedy that now!
