Welcome back to the Art Journaling Monthly Muse! Muse: verb: to reflect deeply on something noun: the source of artistic inspiration Where has tine gone? We are already in week 4!!!! To answer some of you about having another week, I will let you know asap! I am amazed with all the pages that kept coming in these past few weeks, you are amazing and so inspiring!!!!!! In case you just arrived, you can have a look at our Monthly Muse March Week 1 HERE- and Week 2 HERE and Week 3 HERE you have until the end of the month to complete all the pages, so don't be shy if you just dropped in and think you may have fun scrapping!!! Our Muse for this month, as I explained in the gallery, I did not draw this, the link in Pinterest is broken so I can't credit the author. This appealed so much to me as I had been talking to someone and mentioned " I keep fighting to keep my head above water"...but we don't necessarily need to scrap on the emotional side of it...we can go as light or as deep as you want, our goal is to scrap with pleasure!!! Our 4th Fourth week inspiration will be the ANCHOR- Now, for this week, you can take it as literal and go with the continuity on the water/ocean/ thing, or you can go a bit deeper (which is what I would love to see, but you go for what it is comfortable for you!)...the other side of inspiring yourself with the anchor could be a bit deeper and you can scrap what keeps you grounded...what makes it that you wont "sink" on your everyday? I have different "tools", sometimes it can be as easier as Oreo Cookies or lemon Pie, sometimes a conversation with a friend, others going out for dinner...the little things that help you look at your present time with positive attitude and helps you keep smiling... I have as my grounding main here, The Pad is always a place I can come and share , get inspired, relax and be able to get happier, at times just looking at the gallery is enough, other days a wonderful little message with a reminder of how much we are loved .... so, my big time anchors are my family, Sarita, and the Pad, but I have LOTS of little things that help..... I would like to see yours!!!!!! Taken the success of @AnneofAlamo 's awesome Skinnies, and the generosity of @Scrapping with Liz , we still have the templates available for free, so if you wish, you can do this month as a skinny too, but it isn't a requirement this time... you can make full pages if you prefer. If you do decide to go for the Skinnies but haven't got the template from last month, you can find the templates available HERE. Also Christa @cfile has made a gorgeous template idea for this month, to scrap each week into a triangle that will complete the page- Christa's awesome template is HERE on PSD- let us know if you need any other format! I was unwell last night, with temperature, the fever and the pain levels weren't helping to scrap, so I ll come back with my page later on this afternoon- Can't wait to see yours!!!!!! So, same a`s last week: You should scrap your page, post in the Art Journaling Gallery HERE and then come share with us here To do so, copy the 3rd link on the right hand side of your LO, the one that reads : Share BB Code: and just paste the copied link into your text in the post DO NOT use any icons, no need to click on anything, just copy on the link, then paste it here in your text! Thanks to Margaret @londoncuppa for calling attention to this! We will draw a winner in the end of the month, even more incentives for your inspiration! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!! If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask!!! Our Monthly Muse winner is number 15: @cinderella sending you a pm with your prize!!!
Can someone enable me with kits that have anchors? I kindof have an idea of what I might like to do, but don't know if I have many in my stash.
@EHStudios Elisa, hopefully this link will work. I just did a search on the word ANCHOR in the store. Granted, there are some funky items you can automatically eliminate, but it gives you a start. https://the-lilypad.com/store/search.php?mode=search&page=1
@mcurtt Thanks for looking Marilyn! I had more in my stash than what I thought, but once I started scrapping and added more & more I couldn't get my same feelings through...So I did this:
thank you so much for this challenge Cynthia @MrsPeel I can't beleive I've made the 4 weeks. and I love the result

After literally spending HOURS (not even kidding when I say 3 hours easy) trying to decide what kit to buy that had an anchor this is what I came up with. It kind of turned out how I saw it in my head, but not as well LOL!! Montly Muse Week 4 by bbymks5 posted Mar 25, 2017 at 10:15 PM
My final piece. Thank you, Cynthia, for awesome prompts this month. You broke down an art journal page...and found bits of inspiration from each piece. You shared that inspiration with us...your creative process is AWESOME.
I love my pages and I never would have created them without your prompts! Thank you!! I had to use this photo of my Mom for this.
