Welcome to the Art Journaling Monthly Muse! Muse: verb: to reflect deeply on something noun: the source of artistic inspiration Hi everyone! I am posting in Kimberlee's behave since she is having some internet issues. In January we introduced a little taste of our new Monthly Muse Challenges. In simple words, 4 weeks = UP TO 4 challenges to help you dig into your soul or just have fun. This month Kimberly picked a very special MUSE.... Our Muse for this month: Mother Earth/Earth Mother This week's inspiration is... Topography and maps as symbols Even though you do not have to use M3 products for this challenge, our latest M3 collection (Journey Adventurous Crossroads) is perfect for this week's inspiration. Available still are the template set from @Scrapping with Liz if you decide to go the "Skinny" route, but of course you don't have to you could make a full page. If you do decide to go for the Skinnies but haven't got the template from last month, you can find the templates available HERE. In addition @cfile created one cool triangle template that you could use (Christa's awesome template is HERE on PSD- let us know if you need any other format!). Once you are ready to share your page make sure you added to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE and then post it in this thread. To do so, copy the 3rd link on the right hand side of your LO, the one that reads : Share BB Code: and just paste the copied link into your text in the post DO NOT use any icons, no need to click on anything, just copy on the link, then paste it here in your text! Thanks to Margaret @londoncuppa for calling attention to this! We will draw a winner at the beginning of next month, even more incentives for your inspiration! You can use any products in The Lilypad store, make sure you follow our gallery guidelines. Pages are due last day of the month. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask!!!
Wow am I really first for once? Well perhaps it was helpful that I knew exactly where I wanted to go with my layout.
Here is mine. A stamp of me along with maps and topography. The April 2017 M3 kit is fantastic to work with.
I'm still attached to maps. I have one on my lap as we travel even when we use the GPS. We use them in planning and routing our trips.
Wheee! I found a government publication (no copyright inside US) and made 2 brushes for myself. One is a cross section of earth showing topography and underlying layers. The other was a pattern from a table showing various patterns one could use to delineate different areas on a black and white map. Such Fun!! Thank you so much for hosting this and to @Dalis for helping
Sorry late to the party, but I did the four parts one after another. Started last night, and kept going, forgot to post the parts as I finished them, I hope that's ok.
