Welcome to the Art Journaling Monthly Muse! Muse: verb: to reflect deeply on something noun: the source of artistic inspiration Hi everyone! I am posting in Kimberlee's behave since she is having some internet issues. In January we introduced a little taste of our new Monthly Muse Challenges. In simple words, 4 weeks = UP TO 4 challenges to help you dig into your soul or just have fun. This month Kimberly picked a very special MUSE.... Our Muse for this month: Mother Earth/Earth Mother This week's inspiration is... Earth Day + green + nature Earth Day is literally around the corner, this Saturday to be exact, so it is perfect to make our inspiration for this week be Earth Day! Remember to stay loose or tight on your inspiration, but let it drive your inner Mother Earth out! Available still are the template set from @Scrapping with Liz if you decide to go the "Skinny" route, but of course you don't have to you could make a full page. If you do decide to go for the Skinnies but haven't got the template from last month, you can find the templates available HERE. In addition @cfile created one cool triangle template that you could use (Christa's awesome template is HERE on PSD- let us know if you need any other format!). Once you are ready to share your page make sure you added to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE and then post it in this thread. To do so, copy the 3rd link on the right hand side of your LO, the one that reads : Share BB Code: and just paste the copied link into your text in the post DO NOT use any icons, no need to click on anything, just copy on the link, then paste it here in your text! Thanks to Margaret @londoncuppa for calling attention to this! We will draw a winner at the beginning of next month, even more incentives for your inspiration! You can use any products in The Lilypad store, make sure you follow our gallery guidelines. Pages are due last day of the month. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask!!!
Here's my updated one for this week. I added the earth with the word "life" that mother nature is watching and the flower and butterfly in the lower right hand corner.
Had to run with 'She' this week, kinda got stuck for what to do. Now realizing that evolution and revolution (turning earth, turning self) kinda fit theme, lol. Was fun to run my brain through it's paces thinking about the challenge. Even more fun doing it in PS lol.
I've been following along each week but just didn't find the time to upload. So here are (finally) my first 3 weeks
